This is Xray 1/10 2WD XB2D 2023 Electric Offroad Car Dirt Edition EP. Both Dirt and Carpet Editions of the XB2 are equipped specifically for the typical track conditions found on each surface type and extensively tested at multiple tracks to ensure maximum performance right out of the box. The XB2D was long-term tested at the slippery Hudy Arena track and various dusty European dirt tracks as well as high traction surfaces in the USA. The XB2C was extensively tested at the Hudy Arena carpet track and at various carpet and Astro turf tracks around the world.
The XB2 platform works at the highest competition level in any track conditions, whether it be super-low-traction dusty tracks, medium-traction, or super-high-traction carpet or astro turf; there is an XB2 for you that will handle flawlessly in any of these conditions.
There are two different XB2 kits to choose from – Carpet Edition and Dirt Edition, both built on the same platform with full compatibility and with interchangeable parts. The Carpet Edition is designed for medium to very-high traction conditions, while the Dirt Edition is designed for very-low to medium grip conditions. The Uni-Platform™ allows either XB2 edition to be tuned or converted to suit any track conditions with only a few additional parts.
The XB2’23 chassis plate retains the updated flex characteristics but incorporates the traditional mounting of the rear suspension holder based on customer feedback for maximum reliability and platform consistency between all 2023 XRAY 2WD models of the XB2, XT2, and SCX. The flex characteristics of the front section of the chassis provides the steering reactivity, and the additional milling provides more room for electronics. The chassis keeps the two sets of mounting holes for installation of the optional chassis weight or electronics plate for easy maintenance and weight balance adjustments. The chassis features bent sides for proper weight balance and increased traction with maximum stability of the car. The rear part of the chassis is narrow. CNC-machined from high-quality 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the lightweight chassis retains the necessary strength and rigidity, and is black coated at XRAY’s own in-house fully robotic coating line. The chassis is universal for both Dirt and Carpet edition.
